Have you removed the Lenovo wireless software? When I did this we had this problem, reinstalled it and went away. Unchecking this box seemed to help for us. There is a check box for "Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power". Go to the adapter properties and select the "power management" tab. Its not a massive problem as on the rare occasions this happens I immediately know to go to BIOS and turn it back on. Quick turn back on and everything is fine. The first time I saw this problem it took me a while to find the solution. Now the users cannot turn it on or off via the function keys as I have not installed the drivers for them to do so. Some of my users bring them to me and say that their wireless is turned off on its own. I have been encountering a weird issue with our Lenovo e laptops.
